The next part of the story

The next part of the story

Sharing is caring!

I left the last blog saying I was saying, “I was lost.” I had experienced death before. Less than a month after I arrived in Vietnam, many men I had served with and trained with were killed. One, in particular, was a farm boy from Wisconsin. There is no time in the Army for grieving. I just had to go on with what I was trained to do.

That gave me the clue I needed after my wife died. I just had to live my life without doing anything “strange.” The job I had started a few months before was something I enjoyed. Electronics fascinated me and even became a hobby, amateur radio. I decided to stay in place and do my job the best way I knew how. I didn’t have any plans beyond what I would have for supper or watch on evening TV. I was content as possible after what happened.

Then it happened, my wife’s mother! I’ll tell that story next time.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
