A dud and a Megalodon tooth

Sharing is caring!

Earlier this week I posted a question, and was very surprised that it got absolutely no comments. Most people prefer to comment via email and the inbox on my email remained vacant of any comment on the post. The item I posted was titled, in short form, “Don’t fall in love with me.” I wonder if anyone can tell me why it drew no comments?

Because of my disability, I can’t get out and explore anymore. Luckily YouTube is full of videos of people exploring their surroundings. I found a couple in Florida who are always out exploring. Here is one of their videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKapECngmZs . Because my parents retired to Florida, I was there many times and sometimes enjoyed getting out and looking at that totally new environment from the one here in Minnesota. Because I almost always flew to Florida, I didn’t have the proper clothing to explore. I’m glad I didn’t because this couple is taking viewers along on their explorations.

I enjoy their fossil hunts which often include Megalodon teeth. That shark makes the great white look like a pygmy shark. The man seems to know his fossils as well as his geology. One of their videos I recently saw took them away from Florida to Tennessee. There they were primarily looking for agates. That was always one of my favorite sports as well. Having one of the things I enjoy is their excitement over new finds.

If you have any suggestions for YouTube videos that explore nature, be afraid to pass them on.
