Memories of this Christmas

Memories of this Christmas

Sharing is caring!

A week from today, it will be Christmas Eve. I have all of my Christmas shopping done. It was done entirely online because of my physical limits, but I think I did very well this year. It was a year when I finally decided to turn in my driver’s license for a state ID card. I haven’t driven enough to be safe on the road anymore. I need a walker to get to our Equinox. I could never figure out how to fold up the walker and store it away after getting in the Equinox. I find it interesting how my world has shrunk as my disability has increased.

How is your Christmas planning going? Are you ready for Christmas? I think we worry too much about Christmas. Our friends and family will be happy with the thought we cared enough to find them a present even if it’s the wrong size or color. That’s one of the secrets of Christmas. It’s a time to provide memories of caring and loving. The memories we create will be remembered long after this Christmas is gone. Not only remembered but they will be treasured. Worry less about finding that absolutely perfect gift, and remember the true gifts we are giving everyone are the memories of this Christmas.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
