Why must computers frustrate us?

Why must computers frustrate us?

Sharing is caring!

I still feel disappointed that we cannot answer the question, “why do you love me?” I’m not sure why. I think it’s because it feels like we should be able to answer that simple question.

I have an older computer I use in my amateur radio station. I can’t use the latest window update for Windows 10 because the BIOS is causing a problem. The Wikipedia definition of BIOS is “BIOS is the firmware used to perform hardware initialization during the booting process, and to provide runtime services for operating systems and programs.” It took three days to discover what was preventing the update. It should be easy to download an update to the BIOS and install it on the computer. It turns out it isn’t easy! Like every small problem on a computer, I can’t find a new BIOS to fix the computer I have. Why do the simplest computer tasks prove to be the most difficult?

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
