Frustration

Sharing is caring!

Yesterday turned out to be a wasted day as far as writing goes. After I turned this computer on, everything came to a virtual stop and I noticed the hard drive light was on constantly. I used the little program Microsoft has built into the system to see what was running. You can access that program using the keys “cntrl” + “alt” + “delete” A very reliable program I use had effectively taken over the computer. The brains of this computer, the CPU chip, has four processors in it. Some CPU chips have as many as eight in them. Anyway, all four of the processors were running almost fall out and consuming almost all the power in the computer. I first tried restarting the computer. With the same results, so then I went to the remove program thing built into Microsoft’s operating systems. It actually couldn’t find the program causing the problem. I was getting frustrated because it took literally an hour because the processors were being hogged by the program that had gone rogue. I had the computer running in the “safe mode.” Which meant that the computer would let me sneak in a command every now and then and that’s why it took me an hour. I gave up on that and went back to a program that removes anything on your computer, but still had the problem that I had to wait for the computer to let me in every now and then. I waited as it first call up the program and then to execute it. I don’t remember how long that took but it was getting near lunch and I was hungry.

Long after lunch, the rogue program was finally eliminated and the computer was functioning normally. At that point, I was tired of fighting with this computer and called it a day.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
