End of the day

End of the day

Sharing is caring!

We haven’t broken the drought, but we did get 0.68 inches or 17.27mm of rain yesterday and last night. The last figure I saw on how much rain we would need to break the drought was in 20 inches of rain or more. I hope we can get more rain before it starts to snow. An inch of rain is ten inches of snow. I don’t know what we would do with 200 inches of snow!

I’m working on two completed novels and one that needs finishing. Editing is tricky because if someone is wearing a green shirt, they better continue to wear it. If later I mentioned their red shirt, I have created a problem for the reader. Any changes you make in editing, you must follow through and make sure it doesn’t conflict with something 27 pages down the way. It is very tedious work. I make sure I have not created a problem by going through to the end of the manuscript checking. I must do this for every change I make during editing. I think it takes longer to go from a rough draft to a polished eighth novel than from nothing to a rough draft. I’ll let you know more about both of them as they near completion.

I’m tired, and I think I’ll head to bed. Good night.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
