I have started work on a new novel. At this stage, it is roughing out the basic idea and some of the characters. I have good idea of the main characters and some feel of their characters, but I have not written enough for them to come alive and have them start to write their own stories. They still have very basic generic names such as Tom, Dick, and Harry. It is an idea I had sketched out before, but I wasn’t sure enough of my skills to attempt to tell these men and women’s stories then. It is once more set in northern Minnesota, but it covers a greater time period and tells the intertwined stories of several individuals. As soon as I am sure enough of the novel, I will start posting chapters in PDF format as I did with the mystery novel.

Don’t be afraid to ask when you are going to see something. It really does help keep me on track but give me a month before you start – grin. It’s going to be harder this time because this blog takes time every day.
