Update on new novel

Sharing is caring!

I thought I would give you an update on the novel that’s currently in the works. Pam and Sam have decided to go ahead with their wedding even though Pam’s mother, Karen, has not completed her chemotherapy for her breast cancer. They send out the wedding invitations, and Sam gets a surprise when Delilah Wilson calls him. If you remember, Delilah Wilson was on the team that put together the software that led to the creation of their company. Delilah tells Sam she will come to the wedding. Delilah goes on to explain that she was very interested in Sam romantically. Sam thought Delilah was far too beautiful to have a romantic interest in him. Sam also realizes that he has unintentionally hurt Delilah.

He wants to talk over the conversation with Pam. He is not sure how Pam will react, so he turns to Karen. Her advice is to tell Pam about the conversation. Karen goes on to explain that Sam should never withhold information from Pam. Karen also feels that Pam will see Delilah’s telephone confession in a good light. Karen is correct.

Pam’s father, Mr. Bast, turns down the wedding invitation. We also see another coming confrontation between Mr. Bast and Sam. Gloria Schultz and Hank Anderson, who are Mr. Bast flying monkeys, aren’t sure how to react to the conflict. They should be because Sam had taken in both Bast’s ex-wife and daughter when he kicked them out of their homes. Hopefully, the reader will know that Mr. Bast will react in a way that’s harmful to everyone. Mr. Bast’s personality ensures that will happen.

In my planning, I see the novel as approximately half done. If you remember, this is a tragic story. Pam and Sam will marry and…

No, I will not give away the ending. I hope you enjoyed this update. Oh, there is still no title for the novel.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
