Why are you afraid to fall asleep again to dream?

Why are you afraid to fall asleep again to dream?

Sharing is caring!

Yesterday’s post brought this quote from Dr. Seuss sent by a reader, “You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.” I never expected a comment like that one from Dr. Seuss. He had much to say about society in our relationships with each other. It is much like the feeling you have on the first evening after your marriage. You are tired from all that has gone on that day, but you are happy and afraid at the same time. You have just made a lifetime commitment to your partner. It was your dream. Now you are afraid to sleep for fear the following day you will awake and find the bed empty next to you. Your dream has come true. Now there is no longer a need to dream. The question is, why are you afraid to fall asleep again to dream?

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
