Looking out the window it looks like it will be a white Christmas. We’ve had a couple of snowstorms in the last week even though it’s only October. The last snow occurred while the temperature was very near freezing. It meant that all the trees have been flocked with fresh snow. Christmas card stuff! It truly looks like the holiday season is on us. I can’t complain because I have been skiing on Halloween before with more snow than this on the ground. One good thing is by this time next month the Bears will be in hibernation. We will be able to leave out the birdfeeders without worrying about them being destroyed overnight. With the deer trying to eat our garden and the Bears selecting a corner of our yard as a bathroom, winter is welcome. Also on the good side, we don’t have to worry about it being a white Christmas. Merry Christmas!
