I would like your ideas about the situation in the novel I’m currently working on. The protagonist, Jim, and his love interest, Carol, have just gotten engaged. A former boyfriend of Carol’s, Richard, confronted Jim and told him that he is as bad as his brother and was nothing more than a male whore. You may not remember that Jim is looking for the killer of his brother, Alex. Jim wonders if Richard might have the name or names of women Alex slept with. Jim asks Carol if she could contact Richard to see if he had any names.

My quandary at this point is will Richard have any names in the first place or has Richard just heard rumors. Or if Richard has a name or names, will he tell Carol? Her engagement to Jim obviously was a blow to Richard. What do you think?

  1. I think he should tell of any names he is aware of. Of course, he will be reluctant but will eventually reveal
    any known names.

As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
