Two are one

Two are one

Sharing is caring!

I’ve been rereading my spam file. My email address is somewhat ambiguous as to what my sex might be because I just use my initials. The biggest number of emails I found are ads for adults. They all recognized the fact that more of us are home together. They also fit the category of “how to have more sex.” The ads directed at women are about how to arouse your man. They give you one or two peeks at what you might do with the promise of many more if you just buy their book. The most common technique is quite an old one – a striptease. The ads aimed at men fall in the broad category of pleasing your mate. They seem to think all men are idiots. What they promise is if you please your mate, she will want to have sex more often. Sadly, none of them give you a clue as to what you might do unless you buy their book. You would think they might give away one or two techniques if we are so clueless. We might try them, and if they work, we will buy their book to have more techniques at hand. It seems like a poor marketing strategy to me.

It’s often in those intimate moments we can open ourselves up not just physically but emotionally as well. We can talk about the fears brought on by COVID-19. It’s a time not only to be honest with our mate but with ourselves. We can take reassurance in the fact that we have someone who not only loves us but will share all with us. We can take solace in the fact that at the moment, we two are one. One against the world and its trials we share with no one else.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
