Do not hide

Do not hide

Sharing is caring!

I was surprised at the low response I got to my question in yesterday’s post. I was really puzzled at first. Then I thought there were many more important things than my problem. The COVID-19 virus has taken center stage. It is all you hear on the news. The White House has a briefing on it every day. The virus totally dominates our local newspaper. I have friends saying they won’t look at the television news or read it on their cell phone. The only thing they say they look at is the newspaper for the very short grocery ads. Everyone wants to escape the virus. Unfortunately, we must keep ourselves informed. Perhaps, just perhaps, there is some good news coming out of New York City. It looks like the efforts to flatten the curve are working. We still have other hotspots in the country where the curve is still rising. Because of that, we need to keep ourselves informed. We should take time at least once a day to check the news. Hide to keep your social distance, but do not hide from what the virus is doing.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
