A training bra?

A training bra?

Sharing is caring!

The headline for this blog will make no sense unless I give you some history. It was fifty-five years ago when an Army dentist made a mistake. I lost all the teeth on the right side of my lower jaw. I did the best to keep the rest of my teeth, but finally, time caught up with me. I have been saving up for some time to be able to get dental implants. It was a nice idea. However, the cost made it impossible. I settled for dentures. Yesterday, all the rest of my teeth disappeared. They were replaced by dentures. They will be replaced in six months by permanent dentures. The dental assistant said something that struck me as very funny. I had a mouth full of Novocain and new teeth that felt weird. I just couldn’t laugh. She said that I should consider teeth I was given yesterday like a training bra! I must be a slow developer because it took me 78 years to get my first training bra!

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
