A prayer answered? A miracle?

A prayer answered? A miracle?

Sharing is caring!

I’m glad there are still things in my life that simply amazed me. One occurred last Friday. Like many people, I had developed a couple of kidney stones. They were much larger than the normal millimeters sized stones. This probably occurred because all of my back surgeries due to a spinal injury have left me with little feeling in that area. The CAT scan clearly showed to large stones just over 1 cm in size. The preferred tool for getting rid of kidney stones in today’s world is a laser. It and the camera to aim it arrive at the kidney through the same way that the urine makes it’s way from the kidney to the outside world. It’s probably a good thing that you are under anesthesia when they do this work – grin. The doctor was surprised to find that one of the kidney stones had totally disappeared! I was also surprised when he told me. My wife, Mary, was not. She said that she had been regularly praying that the stones would go away. Kidney stones don’t usually just go away on their own. Particularly ones that are approximately a centimeter in size. I’m not sure what to call it – a prayer answered? A miracle? What do you think?

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
