Interesting visitor

Sharing is caring!

We had a visitor you might be interested in. It was a small owl just a bit smaller than a crow. It’s called Northern Hawk Owl. You can read about it here https://www.audubon.org/field-guide/bird/northern-hawk-owl It’s an unusual owl for two reasons. First, it comes from the far north and is only very occasionally seen here. Second, it hunts during the day and not at night like most owls. My guess is that’s how it acquired its name as the Hawk Owl. While it was around, none of the birds or squirrels came to visit the feeders.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
