Outliving your classmates

Outliving your classmates

Sharing is caring!

I received an email recently about the death of one of my classmates from high school. I know not everyone has had a chance to read through all of this blog, so I will give you a bit of background. My family had moved to Toronto Canada and I wanted to come back to the United States to finish my high school as I only had my senior year left to complete. I came back and finished my high school at Sandstone Minnesota where my grandmother and grandfather lived. It was a fun year. There were just 48 in our graduating class. The email was about the death of Loretta. I remember her as one of the people who wholeheartedly welcomed me into the senior class. There have been other emails over the years and I have begun to wonder how many of my class is still alive. I don’t know. It feels strange to outlive so many classmates.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
