Yelling at characters

Yelling at characters

Sharing is caring!

Have you ever been reading a novel or short story and suddenly a character you like goes and does something stupid? Did you ever feel like yelling at them? You might think that as a writer you would have absolute control over the people you are writing about, but that’s not true. They will insist on going out and doing stupid things. If you don’t let them, the story simply will halt and you’re stuck. In many respects, they are worse than children because they can get into much worse trouble. Think about that next time you read a story and you want to yell at a character you like who is about to make a horrible mistake.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
