A caution

A caution

Sharing is caring!

I posted the item below this morning on Facebook. I think it self-explanatory.

The security software on this computer is a Symantec product they sell under the name Norton. There was an upgrade yesterday, and it offers you a chance to use a VPN. A VPN is a virtual private network. It makes it much harder for hackers or anyone else to trace a connection back to you or even know where a connection comes from because the VPN will make it appear you are someplace you aren’t. When I turned on the VPN, there were many things that wouldn’t work at first and I had to answer security questions. Unfortunately, Facebook asked questions that make no sense. I won’t go into why they make no sense. So if I want to continue to use Facebook, I have to use a less secure connection. How did I post this? I turned the VPN off and I’m working on a nonsecure connection. This may be my last post.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
