Bumper crop

Bumper crop

Sharing is caring!

On my trip to Fargo, North Dakota, I noticed that many of the pine trees we passed looked brown. It wasn’t from disease or drought conditions. The pines had produced a huge crop of pinecones. I know many of the oaks will produce a bumper of acorns every so often so that the squirrels will bury more acorns than they can eat. It is a great way for the oaks to ensure their survival. Perhaps the pines have developed a means of ensuring their survival.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
