Yesterday I posted a 302-word opening that I might use in my next novel. It may not look exactly like what I posted, but it will be very close. I’m looking for readers to tell me what they think of it as a possible opening. I roughed out pretty much the entire novel. As you can tell from the little snippet I posted, it will be the story of one man’s life. I am not planning to tell it chronologically. In other words, it’s not going to be presented as a biography. Ken’s memory comes to the surface in the snippet because of the song he hears on the radio. There will be other triggers for other memories. Use the comment section below to sign up.
