I have watched the political ads over many election seasons. They follow a very predictable pattern. Very early on you will see ads that tell you something about the candidates. They often include their family and their accomplishments outside of politics. The hard ads start in the middle of the campaign season. The final ads are the ones meant to scare you. They are aimed at the supporters of a particular party. A couple examples are for the Republicans, they are told if they Democrats win the president will be impeached. For the Democrats, they are told if the Republicans win everyone will lose their health insurance.
I got to thinking there had to be an ultimate scare campaign slogan. I also love humor and I think I have come up with it – either party can use it too! “If the other side wins, we will all die!” It it is short and sweet and should scare people. What you think?
