A friend who is also a licensed amateur radio operator sent me a short video of people listening in on Russian communications in Ukraine. It is surprising they are not encrypting their radio transmissions. There are very simple systems for making voice communications on the radio secure.
There are several videos on YouTube, but most of them were made by hams, amateur radio operators, and are full of jargon. I found one that was made by someone else.
