I wonder if a rethink of our border problems is not in order. Trying to keep people out if conditions remain the same in Central America will only continue to be expensive. They say this new caravan began in Honduras because of two primary reasons – poverty and gangs. What if we tried to help Honduras and other countries in the region solve their problems? In the long run, it would be cheaper than continuing to build more barriers and employ more people to guard the border. We have plenty of smart people who could help find the means to aid these people. Your thoughts?
