It was -37°C or -35°F this morning. The 10-day forecast says it’s the last of the very cold weather. Next week we are going to have temperatures in the 20s with overnight lows in the single digits above zero. This is very much like an old-fashioned winter here in northern Minnesota. We have had a great deal of snow and low temperatures, but around 1 March it is like someone throws a switch and temperatures start on the way up. We can still get snowstorms, in fact, they may be the biggest of the season, and instead of light fluffy snow will be heavy sticky snow. However, the worst of winter is behind us. I look forward to seeing the daffodils and tulips coming up.
