SMX/TMP zero, me 1

SMX/TMP zero, me 1

Sharing is caring!

I think this phase of the battle I’ve been fighting recently is ending. I felt pretty good last night and got caught up in reading a novel. It was just about midnight when I turned off the lights. I remember thinking how good I felt.

Switch to 6 AM this morning. I wake up, and everything I’m wearing is soaked. The sheet and blanket are soaked, even the pillow. I was cold because my wet clothing was drying out and making me feel colder. I had had a fever, and it broke. Now that I understand what went on last night, I feel pretty good.

On the other hand, I am exhausted. I am always amazed at how good it feels to get my body reacting normally. I think I have won my battle with the antibiotic SMX/TMP. I never want to see it again. Right now, I am on an antibiotic that’s a good friend, amoxicillin-clavulanate. That combination works by simply killing the bacteria. Not me!

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
