Yesterday I spent the day away from this keyboard to bury my mother and father’s ashes on a family farm near Backus, Minnesota. Yesterday was also my mother and father’s wedding anniversary. They were married on June 29, 1940, 81 years ago. They were buried next to my mother’s sister as she wanted. The pictures are of the proceedings yesterday.
