An answer to a critic of my blog yesterday

Sharing is caring!

I was surprised by an email about yesterday’s post accusing me of being racist!?! However, I suspect her comment is because I used only one example: Abraham Lincoln. It was the only example I could think of where someone looked like someone else as I was writing. I was addressing the whole human race without regard to color. Perhaps I should’ve said something about our physical characteristics being genetic reactions to our environment. It doesn’t change the fact that we all have preferences for our partners. The differences across the whole human race are genetically driven. Those differences ensure we will be attracted to a member of the opposite sex and, therefore, continue the whole human race. Our genes manipulate us to ensure we will be sexually attracted by another person because of their physical characteristics. I suggested even something as simple as eye color could be that reason. I hope this satisfies my critic.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
