Yesterday’s blog more than doubled the number of readers that usually read my blog. I had labeled it “Humor.” My guess is that’s why I got not a single negative comment. Politicians do the weirdest things that are funny. I’m sure they are serious. Somehow the political point of view infects their common sense making them… Well, out of touch with reality. You probably read some of Mark Twain’s writings like Tom Sawyer when you were in school. He was also an outstanding social commentator, particularly tongue-in-cheek type comments. Language was a bit different in Twain’s era, so some of his commentaries seem a bit stilted. With that in mind, his words are still accurate today. That boggles my mind because he died over a century ago, in 1910. I guess it’s true then that politicians never change.
