Credit card fraud doesn’t help your workday

Sharing is caring!

This is a continuation of my April 18 blog. This spring brought surprises. Some were welcomed and are pretty like the crocus and daffodils. Someone decided to use my credit card. That was unwelcome. Fixing the problem started out on a good foot with the credit card company issuing me a new card. I went to use the card, and it would not work! The credit company apologized and issued another new card. It also would not work! Back on the phone to the credit card company! “We’ll issue you a new card,” they said. Meanwhile, while this was going on, reoccurring charges like my cell phone bill were being denied. I didn’t know at this point if the new credit card, the third one, worked or not. The credit card company told me to use it, and it should not be denied. I did. It worked! Back to the cell phone company to tell them about my new credit card number. After multiple attempts to login into my account, I gave up. I gave them a call. They told me there was a long waiting period. I could use their call feature, which I did. Changing the credit card number went smoothly. It’s now 9:48 AM. I haven’t done any work! Who would’ve thought credit card fraud could bring your work to a complete halt?

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
