Thank you for your responses to my post “The history of my disability”

Sharing is caring!

I wanted to thank everyone for their emails and even one e-card in response to my post, “The history of my disability.” About my volunteering questions, we had a draft, and every male had to serve in the military. If you volunteered for the Army, you served three years, but you got to choose what your job in the Army would be. Microwave radio repair school was almost a year in length. I chose electronics because of my love of amateur radio.

There was another reason I volunteered. I knew my grandfathers had been in World War I, and my father had been in World War II, so I assumed growing up, there would be a war for me to go fight. I did research and found out that we had been helping out Vietnam’s since the 1950s. In 1964, it was clear that it would get bigger and therefore my chance of going was excellent.

Once again, thank you for your emails of support. The person who sent me the e-card just blew me away – thank you, thank you

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
