I am making dressing bread for Thanksgiving

Sharing is caring!

Today I am not writing. We are preparing for Thanksgiving. It will be just the two of us for Thanksgiving. I have started to make bread for dressing. I’ll do two loaves and put one in the freezer for our Christmas dinner. It’s a basic two loaf recipe with the addition of a good dose of poultry seasoning. At this stage, I don’t measure much. It’s about 6 to 7 cups flour, yeast, a tiny bit of sugar, pinch salt, and water to make a good dough. I didn’t measure the poultry seasoning, but I think it’s around two tablespoons. The last time I looked, it had risen, but not enough to punch it down for its second rise.

I hope you and yours have a great Thanksgiving.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
