It doesn’t matter where you live because you will have some inconsiderate neighbors. I have lived in large cities such as Toronto and Philadelphia, so I have experienced them. I now live in a remote area as residents of Toronto and Philadelphia would quickly agree. My nearest neighbor is about a mile away. At night, looking out my living room window, I can see only one light. It’s a yard light at a farm. Among my neighbors, I have black bears. They are generally shy of human beings. I don’t want to offend anyone. So maybe a word of explanation and a little story will help. Bear droppings look very much like human droppings. When I was much younger, I was taking someone back through the woods to see a beautiful little waterfall. We were on a fairly well-worn path and came across some bear droppings. The person I was with wanted to know who would be so uncouth to do such a thing in the middle of the trail. I had to inform him it was not a human but a bear. He nervously looked around the woods as we made our way to the little waterfall. All this leads to the fact that we found a bear dropping right next to our garage. The bear could have at least waited until it was back in the woods. It was almost as bad as the deer are eating our rosebushes but fertilizing them with its droppings. Inconsiderate neighbors! There is nothing you can do about them.
