A problem to solve – can you help?

Sharing is caring!

I received an email about the love posts last week which contained a line that I found very interesting. I’m sure the person does not want to be identified, so I have changed the quote by taking out a name and adding two words. The line is, “I am scared because he/she means more to me than any other person.” The person was describing a new love for them. They accurately describe the feeling of being in love with someone and not being sure if that person is in love with them. I am sure everyone has experienced this feeling. Mother Nature makes sure we will with a volatile cocktail of hormones and neurochemicals.

It had happened to this person before. They were looking for advice on how not to get hurt when the other person doesn’t reciprocate their love. I’m not an expert on advice, but I have been where this person is at this moment. I wanted to find out the very same thing this person wants to, but I could not remember how I found out. I couldn’t even remember how I went about finding out. It’s an interesting conundrum because it is a writing problem I am facing at the moment in the novel I’m working on at the moment. I have two characters that the reader knows they each have an interest in the other. How would either attempt to sove this problem? I hope you can help me. Use the contact button at the top of the page to send me your ideas on how either character – male and female – will attempt to find out if the other has feelings for them. I’ll say my thanks in advance.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
