Billy’s soap opera?

Billy’s soap opera?

Sharing is caring!

There are other characters in the novel. I don’t think I’ll describe any more of them in this blog. However, one of my proofreaders came up with a description of the novel I never thought about. She said, “It’s the best soap opera I’ve ever read.” At first, I wasn’t sure what to think of that description. I wasn’t sure if it was good or bad. The more I thought about it, the better I liked her description. It is about the central character, Billy Johnson, life. Isn’t that what soap operas are all about? The only way for a character in a soap opera to disappear is for that character to die. As the novel ends, Billy is very much alive. I am sure and I hope the reader is too that Billy will experience more ups and downs.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
