“I Could Never Be Ashamed of You”

Sharing is caring!

“I Could Never Be Ashamed of You” was written by Hank Williams in the early 1950s for Billy Jean Jones Eshlimar. He married her in 1952. It was the B side of a record. There is more of a story of the song, but it’s not important for this post. The song was adopted as an anthem by many men for various reasons. You met Sue who is in the novel yesterday. She marries. The song means much to the man who marries her. You can listen to it on YouTube at this address sung by Hank Williams: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xLx1Bg9RSQ

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
