Sharing is caring!

Like you, I’ve been listening to the politicians and wondering about the vote that took place in the House of Representatives yesterday. Not trusting the politicians I went back and looked at what the Constitution says. In Article 1, Section 2, Clause 5, it says “The House of Representatives… shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.” It doesn’t say anything about how it should be done! Most legal scholars consider analogous to grand jury proceedings. Please notice the word “most” in the previous sentence. That means the politicians can spend the next umpteen months arguing back and forth about how it should be done and whether it is fair or not and a million other things. I wish the Constitution was a bit clearer. Don’t you?

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
