In Vietnam, we abandoned our allies the Montagnard to our shame. They were the hill people from central South Vietnam. If you want to know more about them, look online. I knew them because I was there. It was a major reason I could not support our president then. We have history repeating itself. The Kurds had fought long and hard so we didn’t need to send more troops to the Middle East. Now we have abandoned them thanks to our president. For that reason alone, I cannot support him.
