I rarely get a phone call about a posting. It would obviously have to come from a friend who reads this blog. Anyway, the sample chapter I posted about the novel with the title Billy drew one telephone call. I did not ask permission to use their name, so I’ll use the generic “they.” They said they enjoyed the chapter and would like to read the entire novel. They said that the ending of the chapter left them “sad.” Diane did not “deserve” the brutal rape that left her damaged for life.
