Technical answer for a nurse

Sharing is caring!

The parts of my spine damaged by the accident were the entire lumbar region starting at L1 through S1. They tried to stabilize the sacrum by running relatively large screws to the pelvic girdle. One vertebra was showing signs of deterioration [I don’t remember which one], so they harvested one of my ribs and used it to rebuild the vertebrae. They had earlier tried to use a cadaver bone to strengthen it, but that didn’t work.

” I am a writer and as a writer, I do not neatly fit into any category. I have written magazine articles, feature news articles, restaurant reviews, a newspaper column, and several book length nonfiction projects aimed at people interested in particular health problems for foundations and companies. As to novels, I have published some Kindle novels.”
